Sverker Toreskog (1936 - 2013) (wikipedia) was well known for his impressive achievements in tissue-preserving esthetic dentistry with the concept "primum non nocere est" meaning that the most important thing is not to injure. His work through the last 25 years has shown that thin bonded porcelain shell crowns have a long durability and in many instances are a better alternative than traditional full-prep crowns.
