Purpose

The mission of the academy is to stimulate and promote clinical excellense in all types of dental treatment. Since this is not allways easy to define and measure, published scientific articles describing the state of the art in different fields of odontology are not found. The work of the academy will consist of seeking litterature and lectures describing how to perform treatment with the aim of reaching superior treatment results, and try to share this information among us. In this we value esthetics of cource as a natural ingredience of a restorative treatment measure but we will also try to judge whether results are long term and last but not least give rise to least possible iatrogenic damage. The ethics of the treatment shall allways be a natural judging factor when describing and promoting these items. In the academy we will try to communicate and discuss techniques and materials in order to develop ourselves as clinicians and our treatment measures for the benefit of our patients.

Organisation

The Academy is a non-profit organisation and no part of net earnings, if any, shall inure to the benefit of any person. The Academy earnings are devoted exclusively to the uses and purposes of the Academy as defined in the foregoing section.
